01. What are the requirements for renting a vehicle?
• Valid original Driving license.
• Valid original QID proof, (or original valid GCC ID or passport if the customer is not a resident in Qatar).
• valid credit card and payment in advance.
• Rental Contract to be signed while renting
02. What are the Driver’s license and ID requirements:
Original photographic proof of Qatari identity (or valid original passport or GCC identity if the customer is not a resident of Qatar) should be produced at the time of rental.
Valid original Qatari driving license or original international driving license should be provided if the license is issued outside Qatar.
The international driving license must be pre-approved by the competent authorities of the State of Qatar and is subject to the sole discretion of the Company Al Mana Leasing.co.
03. Age Requirements?
Drivers should not be less than 21 years of age and should possess a valid driving license.

Below mentioned payment modes are accepted for individual clients Cash Debit Cards Credit Cards
05. What security should I provide while renting?
A valid physical credit card to be provided while renting and a preauthorization amount will be blocked from the card during the rental period for security purposes. This will be reimbursed normally 14 days after the rental agreement upon closing date and as it completely depends on bank’s discretionary terms of reimbursement.
06. what Insurance Coverage will be provided?
Vehicles and passengers are fully covered as per the Qatari laws.
Third Party Liability encompasses drivers in case of damage, including injuries to passengers.
Maximum coverage in case of personal injury shall be decided upon by a Qatari Court Judgement.
Maximum coverage in case of death shall be decided upon by a Qatari Court Judgement.
07. Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in our vehicles.
08. What are the Prohibitions to use cars?
The rented Vehicles cannot be driven/used:
- outside the Geographical limits of Qatar;br?
- by who is not properly licensed to drive the vehicle;
- if the driver is under the influence of alcoholic drinks or drugs/narcotics, or any other substance impairing consciousness or ability to react;
- in any manner which would or might render the insurance void.
- to carry a greater number of persons than that for which it was designed.
- for any illegal purposes;
- for smoking any kind of substances;
- for off-road driving;
- to carry a load which is improperly secured or loaded, or which overloads the vehicle, or which would or might cause damage to the vehicle or other road users and/or public property, including hazardous substances;
- to propel or tow another vehicle, trailer, or other object;
- for racing, pace making, reliability trails, rallies, speed testing, driving tuition or similar purposes; Or to carry any sort of alcoholic drinks and/or drugs/narcotics.
Additionally in case the vehicle is impounded / detained by the police the renter/driver will be liable to pay to the Company all charges (including accrued rental), losses, damages, fines, penalties and expenses by this reason or in respect thereof.
09. Can I add additional drivers to my rental agreement?
Only one additional driver can be added at no extra cost and shall be having all the requirements applicable to the main driver.
10. What name should be on the agreement?
The name should match the ID, passport and driving license being submitted at the counter and/or online.
Al Mana Leasing Co. reserves the right to deny renting the vehicle if the name does not match the one on the ID, passport or the driving license.
11. Late return policy
as per the contractual conditions.
12. What is the Territory of use?
The rented vehicle must be used inside the territory of the State of Qatar only. Any expected use outside that territory shall be pre-approved by Al Mana Leasing Co. at its sole discretion.
13. what shall I do in case of accidents?
1- Keep the rented vehicle in the same position where the accident took place.
2- Record the other vehicle plate number.
3- Immediately report the accident to the police.
4- Immediately report the accident to Al Mana Leasing Co.
